Being an international student you will by now possess Overseas Student Health
Cover (OSHC) insurance, but there are other forms of insurance that can guard you. Travel insurance provides protection if your plane time is changed, you misplace your suitcases, or if you get hurt during your trip over.

Contents insurance covers household items such as electronics and furniture and other expensive items worth replacing.


Overseas Student Health Cover

It is mandatory to get OSHC prior to travelling to Australia so that you are covered once arriving. The Department of Immigration and Citizenship insist on you to have OSHC for whole time you are in Australia.

Your OSHC will assist you with any medical costs or doctor’s visit’s while you are here. However things such as physiotherapy, acupuncture etc will need to be payed by Private Health Insurance.
